By the title of this post, you would think we wanted to move in with our parents right now or something. Although we love them, that's not quite what we mean. Here's some background.
This is the place that we cur
rently live. We really like it--it's a nice three bedroom duplex, and it's been great for us. When we moved in here, we figured that we would want to live here for 3+ years.
As you may or may not know, one of our favorite things to do together is to walk or drive around and look at houses. We've enjoyed doing this ever since we were first dating--we just talk about what we do/don't like, what we do/don't want or need, etc. I'm sure that many of you do this. At any rate, after doing this for three years, we've come to a consensus as to what we want in a house. We want a Craftsman style home, two stories, not too big, but large enough that a family could live comfortably. Kind of like...
This house!!

In our wanderings in Spanish Fork, we have noticed this house many times. Never with greedy eyes, but just saying, "See that house there? That's the kind of house we'd like to live in." And then it happened...
A few weeks ago, I noticed it was for sale. At first, I didn't say anything about it, because I thought that it was not even remotely possible for us to buy anything. However, it kept nagging at me and bugging me, so I finally said, "Hey Brent, you know that house on Center Street that we really love?" He knew exactly which one I was talking about. "Well...it's for sale..."
It's probably not even really a possibility for us, and maybe we're just feeling house-hungry because months of being baby-hungry hasn't exactly worked out that well for us so we're channeling the energy somewhere else. At any rate, we want this house. Badly. It makes me happy and sad at all once. We feel wonderful picturing ourselves in the house; we feel sad when it dawns on us that maybe this isn't something that could ever happen for us.
We're looking at it tomorrow just...to look. We feel drawn to this house. We're praying about it--the Lord has always led us where we need to go, and provided a way for us to thrive where he's led us. I guess where we are right now is that maybe, just maybe, if we're supposed to be in this house, there will be a way. Who knows?
Oh, and by the way, I got a new haircut. What do you think?

Brent also has a new haircut (done by me!!)...he's practicing to become a male model (his lifelong dream).
